People in NYC are on the move, rarely looking at each other, caught up in their own world. Jackass is about bringing a different point of view to an ordinary day, to see if people notice, or simply block it out. I created 5 large fiberglass masks of Jackass, and had 5 guys wear them around New York City, sometimes posing as tourists in well know locations.
This work is shown in a series of 7, 40"x60" color photographs. In an Edition of 7.
